Whether it’s the rituals of Hajj or the sacrifices we carry out on Eid Al-Adha, these days of Dhul-Hijjah remind us of the enduring legacy of our great Prophet Ibrahim. Join us as we learn from his awe-inspiring and timeless qualities and strive to become tenacious believers like Ibrahim (A).

You already have an excellent example in Ibrahim” (60:4)

How was Prophet Ibrahim Certain?

When his people threw him in a large fire for going against their false gods, the angel Jibreel came to him and asked if he had any wish. Instead of asking to be saved, Prophet Ibrahim replied that Allah was enough to take care of his affairs.

Our Lord! You certainly know what we conceal and what we reveal. Nothing on earth or in heaven is hidden from Allah. (14:38)

“Our Lord! In You we trust. And to You we ˹always˺ turn. And to You is the final return. (60:4)

How Can I Be Certain Like Prophet Ibrahim?

Next time you make dua, raise your hands and ask Allah for whatever you want with a certainty that He will respond. Believe with all your heart that He will give you what you want or something much better. Remember, Allah is as we think of him.
