Khutbah Toolkit: Quick Guide

All praise is due to Allah, we seek his refuge, and ask for his forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from our own bad deeds. Whoever Allah guides, no one can misguide him, and whoever Allah misguides, no one can guide him. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah Alone, and I bear witness that Muhammad is his messenger.

Quick Guide: Victory Through the Lens of the Quran

  • Seeing all the suffering and turmoil of our brothers and sisters, it is important to look at the idea of victory as a part of a plan and as a part of a bigger picture. Allah سبحانه و تعالى shows us through the Quran that we should trust in His greater plan and that victory shows up in different ways.
  • This is shown through 6 points in the Seerah:
  • In our recent and ongoing history in the global Muslim world, if you look at those events through the lens of the Quran, you will understand that Allah سبحانه و تعالى is preparing us for a bigger picture too.
  • We need to look at the current events in the world today as part of a plan that is not entirely revealed to us, and trust the process and the plan.
  • It is a duty upon us as Muslims that we ask ourselves where we are in this struggle between truth and falsehood. Are we doing our due diligence as believers?
  • We really need to take on roles within a collective effort by supporting our brothers and sisters, whether that is giving donations, making dua, or being politically and civically engaged in this country to make a difference in its foreign policies. Have we as American Muslims done our part?
