In 2021, we led 5 weekly virtual usar that benefitted 35 members accross 17 states.

Mentorship

We organized a MAS Mentoring crash course for +90 mentors, and helped develop the Mentorship Development Program that will launch in 2022.

Project 100

Our Project 100 ran 4 successful cohorts, hosting a total of 650 diverse participants from +30 states nationwide. 60% went on to become MAS Community organizers, leaders, mentors.

Publishing

We published two books for your consumption.

In addition to successfully publishing Guardians of the Houses of Allah and Roadblocks: Spiritual Challenges in Islamic Work, our publishing team is developing and planning out the launch of 4 publications in 2022.

Muslim Youth Ministry

ACT Training

184 participants trained and empowered to give back to their communities by serving meals, raising funds for clinics and care packages, and joining qiyam.

Consultations

Created an MYM initiative that focuses on providing youth programming for mosques nationwide.

Programming

Our team produced 4 revive packages throughout 2021 to support and guide chapter and trabiyah directors, and created a special Faith First special program that reached +3,500

Social Media

Our MYM team started a social media account that reached +1800 in the last quarter of 2021.

Pace

Webinars

Conducted 6 political education webinars this year on topics related to racial justice, political organizing community power building, Uyghur genocide, climate justice and more. Our PACE team also Provided an organizing training in collaboration with MAS PACE Boston.

Mobilization

  • San Diego PACE team worked with coalition partners to establish an Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs.
  • Participated with USCMO in organizing team for National March for Palestine
  • MAS PACE participated in a multi-faith action for climate justice held in Minnesota
  • Conducted an advocacy campaign to demand the Biden Administration increase refugees and Parolees from Afghanistan
  • Participated in Haitian Bridge Alliance’s national call to action to defend Black immigrants on October 14th in response to the crisis in Texas.

Webinars

Fundraising

Alhamdulillah, your support has allowed us to raise +1.5 Million in 2021.

This was done by:

  • Working with MAS Foundation and raising +$900K
  • Establishing a digital fundraising presence and A Major Gifts Program
  • Raising +$900K at a Ramadan All-Members Meeting
  • Organizing a nationwide Ertugrul celebrity tour for 1200 attendees, raising +$250,000
Virtual Usar

Operations

Masha’Allah, our operations team assisted several chapters in incorporating and obtaining their 501(c)(3) tax exempt status, established the MAS Foundation and Muslim American Waqf Inc in an effort to build a more sustainable organization, and many many more things.
